Objective of this role:
The Social Media Specialist is driven by a passion for the connections made through social media. You will leverage your experience in the social space to generate traction and engagement across key social channels.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team to manage, and publish original, high-quality content that is appealing and informative and helps to create social 'buzz' and interactivity
- Create content that encourages new followers
- Administer all company social media accounts ensuring up-to-date content while adhering to all brand style guides
- Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices to test and optimize content
- Stay up-to-date on social media trends, habits, and behaviors and make recommendations to management based on information, experience, and sound data analysis
- Responsible for going into the field or to events to take photos/ videos to promote Renova installations and community involvement as needed
- Translate existing media, campaign information, and other documents from English to Spanish
- Create content to post to social media or to be used for other marketing initiatives
- Create and share content via all social media platforms.
- Work in conjunction with the Branding to establish continuity between the company webpage and social media
Requirements:
- Experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar position
- Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal, communication, time-management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to use social media for impressions and brand awareness
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms including GMB, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook
- Understanding of social media KPIs, web traffic metrics, and SEO
- Experience doing buyer persona and audience research
- Familiarity with publishing and web design
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
